Elizabeth Marshall

Chartered accountant and former NL attorney general

  • Before entering federal politics Senator Elizabeth Marshall spent 30 years in the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, holding positions including deputy minister of social services and deputy minister of transportation and works. She also served as the auditor general for Newfoundland and Labrador from 1992 to 2002.
  • Senator Marshall served two terms as a member of the House of Assembly of Newfoundland and Labrador, and from 2003 to 2004 was the minister of health and community services for the province.
